The service

Metric Rise FZE LLC provides Try a Cut. Contact and registration details are below. You must be at least 18, use your own adult portrait and have the rights needed to process it. Do not impersonate others, submit illegal material, bypass access controls or disrupt the service.

AI previews

A result is an AI illustration, not a promised salon outcome or professional advice about hair health or chemical treatments. AI may change facial details or hair density. Enhancement is on by default; you can turn it off before generation. It may adjust lighting and skin, and the comparison source may also be colour-corrected. The named AI provider receives your photo only after the required permission.

Your content

You keep your existing rights in the original photo. You permit us and disclosed providers to process it to supply the requested service and meet applicable safety or legal duties. This does not grant us advertising or own-model training rights. Outputs may not be unique or protected by copyright. Our Privacy Notice explains copies, retention and deletion.

Saving and availability

Keep an exported copy if you need it independently. Access to the generated result expires one hour after submission, or earlier when the app confirms local saving. That confirmation or expiry starts automatic server deletion. If a technical interruption prevents deletion, cleanup is retried. Saved looks remain in the local gallery. Deleting the app, device failure or backup settings can affect saved looks. Deletion cannot recall shared copies or cancel work already dispatched. The service runs on a Hetzner server in Germany; availability and features can change, and generation may fail.

Payments and allowances

No app registration is required. Two completed long-hair looks are free; other lengths or additional generations require a paid allowance. The weekly plan includes 50 new looks and the monthly plan 100. Prices are localized by Apple and shown before confirmation; the approved US prices are $14.99/week and $29.99/month. There is no paid trial and unused allowance does not roll over.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple charges the selected Store payment method and handles renewal. Manage or cancel in iPhone Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Cancellation does not delete saved looks or immediately end the already-paid period. Deleting app data does not cancel a subscription. Apple’s refund process and mandatory consumer rights apply.

Restore purchases uses verified Store ownership to restore the remaining paid allowance; it does not reset consumed looks or recover deleted photos. A pending generation reserves one look. A confirmed failed generation releases it; an unknown outcome is checked before another attempt can consume a look. Purchases made in TestFlight use Apple’s sandbox and do not charge real money. Merely installing the app starts no subscription. Apple’s standard license applies where no custom license applies:

Ending use and resolving problems

You may stop using the app and request deletion. We may suspend access for misuse, security or legal reasons, with notice where practical. We must provide the care required by applicable law. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or limits mandatory consumer protections, complaint rights or access to courts in your country. Contact us to resolve a problem. Material changes will be notified in the app or an updated notice; new photo uses require the applicable permission.
